YUBA and ICE

The trip began simple enough: dropping rocks off the bridge through the ice.

As you can see, we weren't the first ones to try it--everyone else just picked tine whimsy rocks that didn't go all the way through.

The dam builders were kind enough to bring in all these nice, huge red rocks, so we didn't have to go far to find our cannon balls.

First Papa K took a whack at it.

Then Andrea though, "How hard can it be...?"

Then Mama K and Mia tried to take the whole thing down in one fell swoop.

Then Andrea redeemed herself by getting a hole-in-one!

This panorama off the other side of the bridge shows the the sheets of ice.

Next, we decided to go down and walk along the shore of the dam.

Some big sheets of ice had been shoved up on the the shore. The ice was very honeycombed and broke into ice shards.

Check it out!

Then we decided to try out luck with throwing the rocks from the shore.

One great big wing-dinger!

Then Andrea preformed her greatest stunt yet...

She can be persuaded to do some of the neatest things...

More Fun

Cheez-It dinner?

We found a cool recipe that used Cheez-it as the breading on chicken so we had to try it.

It turned out good. We liked it.

These photos where missed from our trip down the Utah when we got our car. We contemplated just getting bikes instead.

Right outside of the Hill AFB they had a cool car show going on with these nice cars.

They are on fire!

This guy might of been in the Cars movie.

We stopped to see a old friend in Pocatello Idaho and we went out to eat at this greek restaurant.

We got a greek lamb gyro on pita. It wasn't that bad at all. We actually really liked it.

Malea supporting the Seahawks.

Snow after our temple trip. We thought it looked cool with the lights.

We get to school pretty early. This we hadn't seen much of the sun recently so we took a photo. (You can click on it to enlarge it)

We have had some really cold nights in Rexburg, it has been fun.

Colton sent Malea's ring back to the people in SD and it came back today

For out one year anniversary Malea got a wedding band to fit her ring. The box that it came back in had this awesome LED light in the top.
