Meeting at the Bean Museum

After our stay in Layton, we headed down to visit the Kenison side. Our first stop was at the Bean Museum on BYU campus in Provo. They have done lots a renovations and it was fun to see their new exhibits.
In the entry way--and they even had some little lambs by a baby for the season.

They have a new sections showing some of the artist work of Elder Boyd K. Packer.

Another Elder Packer piece.

Then we saw the apex predator exhibit. It was pretty intense!

"Are ya achin'...yup, yup, yup...For some bacon...yup, yup, yup..."
"Then you can be a big pig too!"

The Elk. The sisters.

The butterfly mosaic.

Close-up of some of the really pretty ones.

Luke loved the butterflies.

What is it?

Nasty big beetles!

Luke was good to tell us the animals if we didn't know what they were just then.

They even have a full-sized elephant now!

By the time we finished, there was even more snow outside than there was when we went in.

The Bell Tower.

Sun setting on a crisp winter day.

After the museum, we went to Katie and Tyler's new house for pizza and cheesecake bites! :)
We also delivered one of Andrea's Christmas presents for the Shirleys.

Definitely her style!
