Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve morning, we awoke to find that Santa had left an early present for Momma and Papa Kenison because he wasn't sure it would fit on his sleigh with all the other presents he had to deliver on Christmas night. There was even an official letter written by Santa with it!
Luckliy, Colton and I are very skilled in the art of setting up new flat screen TVs and were able to have it up and running in no time.
We took Papa Kenison with us to visit Grandma Anna. We spent a couple of hours visiting with her. We are sure lucky to be part of her family!
We went to the Peteetneet to see the model trains, but the building was closed. All we saw was lots of sledders...
And lots of broken sleds!
We also spotted this little gem and though of our favorite brother Jake! We thought he might consider something like this for his next family car! ;)
The Payson Temple is coming right along! We were excited to see how close they are getting!
Preparing for our Shepherd's Dinner.
Grandpa Marvin, Uncle Blake, and Boyd Jolley were also there to share our Shepherd's Dinner. The tasty dinner was followed by a beautiful program about nativities and making room for Christ during Christmas.
Christmas Day
Colton, Me, and Andrea rub the sleep out of our eyes and stare with wonder at all the packages Santa had left us!

Papa Kenison was pleased about his new sand blaster!
Mike and Aubree face timed us to wish us a Merry Christmas! And to tell us the good news about their surprise due in August! We can hardly wait!!!
Andrea got really creative and braided my hair in a carousel braid.
The Mellor Mob came to visit. Naturally, the girls ended up doing toenails while the boys went out to shoot guns.

More About the Polar Express
Here are some better shots of Papa and Momma Kenison's new train. The engine is die cast and weighs roughly 5-8 lbs, plus it has working parts. It is a sturdy little piece! Also notice the dude riding the cow catcher and the engineer poking his head out the window.

Papa Kenison also had to try out the smoke puffing function. It is pretty cool because it makes almost perfect little smoke rings!

We wish we could have come and joined you for all the Christmas fun. Our only consolation is that we will be closer to you, one way or another, in the summer!
